Blog for the week of January 5th

I can't believe that this is the final Do Now. I've enjoyed my two art class so much that it is a shame to see it end. I hope to take more art classes next year
Art Fundamentals:
1. Think back. What new techniques did you learn? I've learned different mediums and how to use them. I've learned how to do a potatoe print. I loved seeing how the human figure was treated in different
2. Name something you learned in this class that will stick with you. I've learned how to use Ink as a medium. I have enjoyed it so much. I will also remember the trip, it was so much fun to experience with my classmates.
3. How would you change the class? Assignments or otherwise? There is not much I could say that I would want to change. I would say to maybe shorten the amount of time spent on Do nows. They seemed to have taken up a portion of the classes that could have been spent on our projects
4. What was your least favorite part/assignment? I'm not a huge fan of the blogs. I was able to learn a lot from them but they weren't my favorite.
5. What was your favorite? Just doing art. I've missed not having any art classes for the last few years. My favorites were the potatoe print and the hero story. Everything was enjoyable. I also loved the prehistoric art project.
Applied Arts:
1. Think back. What new techniques did you learn? There are so many that we learned for this class. How to title a mosaic and then how to grout it. Macrame. Weaving, and basket weaving. All sorts of printing too.
2. Name something you learned in this class that will stick with you. I've learned how to do so many projects that I can now do when ever I want.
3. How would you change the class? Assignments or otherwise? The one thing that I didn't like so much was how everybody seemed to be working on different projects at different times.
4. What was your least favorite part/assignment? my least favorite project was the linoleum print. It was fun to carve but for some reason I couldn't get the ink done right.
5. What was your favorite? My favorite was the mosaic, I loved creating the patterns.
